Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Linda was hospitalized after complications from surgery for removing gall stones from the common bile duct on December 5, 2022. Pancreatitis was detected after surgery which results in extreme pain and inability to hold down solid foods. She was first hospitalized for 2 weeks so pain and nutrition could be managed medically. She was discharged to Ecumen rehab center for physical therapy and some occupational therapy for 5 days. While she was at Ecumen she was still unable to hold down solid foods and experienced extreme pain. She was then transferred back to St. Lukes hospital to again manage nutrition and pain medically. Dan is visiting daily. At this time Linda is requesting cards, letters, emails, texts, messages on this site. You can send mail to Linda and Dan's address. She is still experiencing significant fatigue and is not yet ready to receive other visitors.
