Mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about 3 weeks ago. We brought her up to OHSU on March 30th to get started on diagnosis and treatment. On April 4th she went in for exploratory surgery. A couple days later experienced some complications and is now in ICU where the doctors are working on getting her strong enough to come home. This recovery from surgeries will most likely be 2-4 weeks, a slow process. At when Mom is strong enough to come home we will get started on her cancer treatment.
