Liam Gilmore is one of our three12-year-old sons and has an unknown blood disorder. Liam lives in Idaho and one day noticed some bruising resulting from some interaction with fellow wrestlers. We took him to Urgent Care for diagnosis and later that evening was required to be admitted for further testing. Results that evening revealed that Liam’s platelet count, as well as his other bone marrow and blood level numbers, was dangerously below acceptable levels.
