Lily is one of a twin daughter to my daughter Michelle Norris and Matthew Wooten. She is such a sweet, spunky and precious little girl. Wednesday, January 30, 2019, I noticed a nodule on her left shoulder blade. We began our journey at Children’s Lebonheur Hospital in Memphis on Sunday, February 3, 2019. The staff there were phenomenal. They showed more support and genuine concern for our Lily Belle than we could have ever imagined. Lily had a needle biopsy done mid morning and we returned home to wait 8 days for the results. We returned to Memphis on February 12, and met Dr. R. Williams and she gave us the news that we really did not want to hear — our “Little Belle” has Rhabdomyosarcoma. We got to return home for one night and Lily was admitted to St. Jude Children Research Hospital in Memphis on February 13, 2019. She began further testing so that the staging process could be completed and the best laid out plan/course of treatment can be started.
