Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope.

Lily’s story started about 6 weeks ago she got these two lumps on her throat that looked like swollen glands. On 7/9/2020 I finally scheduled a video appointment with widmier and she wanted me to take her to urgent care for some bloodwork and for someone to actually feel them . We went to have bloodwork and everything looked at on 7/12/2020
bloodwork results were nothing alarming her mono test came back negative so Dr. widmier suggested that I go to a ent and get a ultra sound done...
Went Wednesday 7/15/2020 to ultrasound on our way home widmier called and said they didn’t like her ultrasound and I needed to take her to the Er right away for more bloodwork and a ct scan and then more bloodwork just a little off here and there and ct scan showed a fricking mess!
There were the results
Straight to CDH we went and it’s been a shit show ever since

Ok....
Looks like this... and this is not perfect without having the whole biopsy reading back. Those will be back on Monday .... as it looks now we are dealing stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Lily will start a 4 round chemotherapy and maybe radiation therapy plan that will go over the next 6 months starting in about 10 days - she most likely will loose all her hair (this is a big thing for lily😢) ... we have been advised to freeze her eggs, which we will do.
If lily had to get lymphoma this is the one we would want her to have it is the most treatable, the easiest to treat and the most curable with little chance to return.

We meet with her team next Friday after we have some things to get done next week and will start her treatment.
