Lily Montgomery Lily Our Heart Warrior

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. 

Lily's journey began New Year's Eve Day with a visit to the emergency room in Valley City, ND.  She was sent to Fargo, ND, and diagnosed with RSV.  Lily had a more difficult time than most babies fighting off the virus on her own.  After an echo cardiogram, she was diagnosed with dialated cardiomyopathy and immediately flown to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.  She is now in need of a new heart.  Lily recently had an LVAD implanted to keep her strong until a heart becomes available.  She is in need of your prayers and we are so thankful for all the prayers she has already received.  We do not know what is ahead but one thing we do know, your prayers have kept Lily with us, along with the finest doctors possible.  Your prayers have also kept us hopeful.  Thank you for visiting Lily's site and we will keep updating as Lily progresses.
