On January 29th,2021 we heard the words no parent wants to hear “your son has cancer”. Our son Lachlan was diagnosed with acute megakaryoblastic leukemia at 7 months old. Before this he was already such a fighter and had so many obstacles at only 7 months old including Down syndrome ,hypoplastic left heart syndrome and much more. We were admitted to the children’s hospital immediately and have been here ever since for a total of 90+ days.
