Licia Gliptis Travels & Brain Tumors

First post: 12/4/2013 Latest post: 8/17/2017
I have created this Caring Bridge Site to keep friends and family updated as I prepare to have my brain tumor removed. What?? Did I say Brain Tumor? Yes, I sure did.
When I was 14 weeks pregnant with Baby Alex (on November 15th 2012), I was diagnosed with a Stage 1 Glioma Brain Tumor. (Mind you this was a very scary day that including going numb on my right side, a helicopter ride to Baltimore and lots of questions)
So for over a year I have held tight and focused on Alex and got the tests and follow up I needed. It has been busy, we moved to Baltimore to my old house, sold our house in Salisbury, and made lots of life adjustments.  Now that we are getting ready for the holidays, I wanted to share that we are planning on embarking on a January 2014 adventure that will radically remove this tumor and let us put it in the rear view mirror!

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. - please take a few minutes to get signed up to hear how the process is going. It will be very hard to keep everyone in the loop and I encourage you to sign up to be notified when a new post is shared. Josh and Lauren are going to be posting for me as well- I can't tell you how much I love them both!
