On March 31, 2018, Lia (me) was diagnosed with endometrial (uterine) cancer. The tumor has grown in an unusual direction and is not currently operable. I began chemo today 4/26/2018, and will have three treatments, one every three weeks. After the third treatment, the doctor will repeat imaging to see if the tumor has shrunk enough to remove. Either way, I will have another three chemo treatments after that.
This blog will be my way of communicating information to you, Lia's loved ones and friends. I draw great strength from the encouragement and prayers of friends and family, and would welcome hearing from you. If you are ever uncertain about whether or not you should call me, please leave a comment for us here or email me. Also, if you want to send a card in the mail, I can give you my mailing address privately.
