Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

As we all know, Lexi is an amazing young lady full of life and vitality.  Unfortunately, she was in a Jet Ski accident on Sunday afternoon (Father’s Day) at Lake LBJ.  She was tossed off the back of the Jet Ski when they hit a wave causing her to land in a position where the force of the water from the rear of the Jet Ski caused severe internal injuries.  We immediately took her to the Marble Falls hospital where they quickly assessed her injuries and had Air Life transport her to University hospital in San Antonio where she is currently receiving treatment.  Lexi has undergone two multi-hour surgeries thus far to repair her internal damage with many more to come. The staff will continue to irrigate her organs to ensure they rid her body of any lake water that may remain in her abdominal cavity. Her biggest risk at this point is the complications associated with infection.  Lisa and Steve are doing as well as can be expected, and at this time the family is requesting prayerful support only. We will let you know when visitors are welcome at the hospital. There will be plans to coordinate meals once they are home and we will keep you updated on additional needs as they arise.

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting this site.
