Cathy and Lew took their first Viking Cruise, "Viking Homelands" in April 2018. They had a fantastic experience and decided to return on "In Search of Northern Lights". They left the US on March 12th and were scheduled to fly home from London on March 27th. The cruise ship they were on, the Viking Sky, experienced engine failure during rough seas on March 23rd which led to the evacuation of many passengers--including both of my parents--before the seas calmed and the ship was able to get to Molde with some functional engines and tug boat assistance.
