Levi was doing life on his own terms from the beginning. He surprised us by joining our family, and continues to surprise us every day with his strength, determination, intuition, and so many funny faces.
Levi has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which means he was born with only half of his heart. He had his first open heart surgery at 5 days old, and his second at 4.5 months. We are expecting another surgery sometime between 2-4 years old.
