Lesley Johnson Peace Like A River

Welcome to our site "Peace Like A River." Please feel free to check back often as you wish as we plan use this as a way to help keep our friends and family updated, as best we can. On October 30th (after a biopsy) we learned that Lesley was diagnosed with multiple cancerous brain tumors (glioblastoma multiforme), and throughout this journey you will see how we have relied on our Faith, our Family, and our Friends for support.


If you have ever walked along side of a river, or gone canoeing, you will notice that it takes very little effort to comfortable float downstream. As we walked one day on the towpath with an upfront view of the Tuscarawas River we were reminded that God told us that he would give us peace in our times of difficulty. Specifically, in Isaiah 66:12, he said he would give us peace like a river.
