Meals for Leonard

If you would like to help Leonard by bringing a meal, please use the planner and sign up for any day that is not assigned. His preference would be soups, protein (fish, chicken, meat),salads and vegetables (trying to avoid carbs and sugar). Meals can be dropped off any time during the day (preferably by 6:00 pm) but please call Leonard first.

Good news!
Leonard's surgery went well and he is in recovery. David will post as soon as he gets home. Leonard will not be able to answer texts, emails etc until late Saturday or Sunday. Visitors will be welcome possibly by Sunday but please call first.

Leonard is doing as well as can be expected following 4+ hours of serious surgery.  He will spend tonight in the ICU unit of the hospital because his doctor wants to be very cautious and keep him under observation.  If all goes well tonight, they will move him to a regular room tomorrow.  He is taking a lot of pain medication and is very sleepy.  Not communicating very well yet. I think that will improve by tomorrow.  His doctor indicated that he will probably be in the hospital for around 5 days.  If you plan to visit him, please call or text him in advance. Thank you.
