Lenny Dixon

I want to thank all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers, and especially those caring for my dad, Lenny Dixon.  

On January 31st  dad went into the hospital with severe abdominal pain.  He developed a tear in his bowel, which sent him into the operating room for emergency surgery on Wednesday February 2nd.  Subsequent to the surgical repair, he developed sepsis (from the leaked digestive contents into his abdomen from the tear), and is now in the ICU, on a ventilator and dialysis.  He is heavily sedated. His care has been excellent, but very complicated; with many specialists overseeing and managing his hopeful recovery..   He's had  a bumpy road for the last 9 days, however the doctors and nurses still believe he has a good chance to recover.  

I created this site for anyone who wants to stop by, and check in on my dad.   I will be giving daily updates on any changes and progress.
