Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Update on Lee: Everything is progressing well except for so much pain in his left hip. Six weeks after his major surgery, the surgeon removed the brace that was keeping his nonfunctional limb aligned with his body. This process has become very difficult because he does not have control over this limb.... and without the brace, it can twist outward or inward which brings so much pain when it happens. His doctors are working on  finding combinations of oral pain control medications that will help him especially before PT or OT. Our prayer needs are specifically centered on pain control, continued healing of his surgical wound in the hip and healing of his urinary bladder.  As of today we are still at the surgical floor of MDA but waiting on available bed at the rehab unit.
