Lawson is a senior at Catholic High School and has a passion for two things, fish (fishing, fish tanks both salt water and fresh water, tying flies, etc.) and Mazda Miatas. For all of you that love and know him, he is admired for his dry, quick wit and goofy humor and his purple velour shoes he wears every Friday to school to honor the CHS colors.  Lawson was driving his 1995 Mazda Miata down Stewart Rd in Little Rock the Friday after after Thanksgiving and lost control. The car went off the road and flipped slamming into a tree. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and two and half weeks later had a sudden brain bleed that required emergency surgery. He spent the next 4 weeks in ICU in critical condition. He spent a total of three months Children's hospital, a month at Baptist Rehab and has been at Timber Ridge Neurorestorative center for a month. He has been able to miraculously begin to walk, talk and eat again but has much healing ahead.
