Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Larry fell on Wednesday July 26, 2017 . He stood up from the couch with his hands in his pockets, and passed out. He fell straight forward without bracing himself and landed face first on a concrete floor. He was rushed to St. Joseph's in Tampa. He wound to have sustained multiple facial fractures as well as a traumatic brain injury.

He stayed at St. Joseph's until sat after we made the decision to transfer him to Shands at the University of Florida in order for him to receive the best care possible. He was transferred to Gainesville Saturday evening.  His daughter Jackie is a nurse practitioner at UF for neurosurgery.

8/1/17: He is currently in the 82 ICU. He is on a ventilator, and some light sedation for comfort. They have taken off his neck brace as he has been found to have no neck injuries.  He will respond to pain
