Last month, Dawn was diagnosed with a rare form of vaginal cancer. Officially, it is Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the vulva. Vulvar cancer. Knowing very little about this type of cancer, we began researching, and found out that being referred to City of Hope was the best plan. I have met with the doctors there, and we are optimistic that after treatment, the cancer will never return. Please feel free to ask questions. Being a teacher, you know I want to educate. I'm more than fine with sharing what I know, and finding out what I don't. I'm pretty much an open book, and maybe that isn't always a good thing, but if I can help save a life with my experience, I'm more than happy to lay it all out there.
