Laurie Carlos, beloved and fierce artist, friend, mentor, mother, playwright, director, force of nature passed away on December 29, 2016 from colon cancer.
Her memorial is in New York City on Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 1pm-4pm at historic Saint Mark's Church, Second Avenue & East 10th Street, New York, NY 10003, are greatly appreciated. Do not donate through Caringbridge. Donations can be made through YouCaring:

Laurie was a guiding force in all of our lives. Your kind words, cards, visits, calls, and donations over the last four months were an incredible help to her.
