Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Laurice (born Larris) Whittle Trice is known to her 4 children as Mother, for her 5 grands she is Ganga, and to most of you as good Friend! Smart, tell it like it is, she never hid what she thought or where you stood with her. Having recently celebrated her 89th birthday, Mother has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Adnocarcinoma of the stomach and colon. Her time here on earth is short. As she tells us, she is ready to "go home" and see her Lord, her grandparents she never met, the baby she never held, and all the loved ones that have gone before her. Our hearts are breaking! Hospice is participating in her at home care. fortunately Todd, Judy, Stacey and I are able to be with her daily. Unfortunately she is not up to visitors or phone conversations. Thankfully the CaringBridge site provides an opportunity to keep everyone updated on Mother's status.
