Laurel Graver

Welcome to our CaringBridge website for our dear friend Laurel. We are using it to keep family and friends updated, in one place.  There is not a lot of news yet but we want to let friends of Laurel's and Scott's have a way to keep informed.


Many of us have noticed she's not been well lately. When I spoke with her this weekend she was coughing a lot and  having some trouble talking, and told me she had scheduled an appointment with a doctor for Wednesday. This past week her health took a turn for the worse.


Yesterday Laurel was admitted to Marin General Hospital, and is being tested and treated in the Cancer Center for the next few days. Tests are underway and treatment will begin asap. The current diagnosis is metastatic lung cancer. We will update this page as soon as we know more.


All this has happened quite fast. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement and will share them with Laurel and Scott. Thank you for visiting.
