In Mid-October 2020, Laura was diagnosed with stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. After her diagnosis was confirmed by a biopsy, a flurry of activity began. She began visits to multiple physicians, the placement of a port to receive her chemotherapy, and then the beginning of her treatments. Throughout the process, Laura remained hopeful and drew on the strength she has gained by learning through other difficult times in her life, and relied on friends and family as she took next steps toward healing.
Laura and her family may have multiple needs across her treatment journey.
