I am going  to try and use this site to keep contacts updated on my journey with Pancreatic Cancer.  In May, Harley and I visited my sister and her family in Portland, Or.  I noticed that some minor symptoms but didn't feel very well the weekend we got home.  On Monday, we went to Marshfield Clinic in Minoqua where a wonderful Dr. Craig ran liver function tests, etc which were very abnormal. He arranged for me to be seen at the hospital for an ultrasound which was concerning for possible cancer.  He arranged with my primary doctor in Hartford to get me in for further testing at Aurora Sinai. I had 2 types of scopes done including one to put in a stent so the horrible itching of jaundice would improve.  Talk about itching. They then did brushings and eventually a tumor sample which also showed cancer. And, so this unbelievable journey begins.
