Jen Arens Laughing through Leukemia

On April 24,2104 I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML);  a slowly progressing and uncommon type of blood-cell cancer that begins in the bone marrow.  Even as the doctors told me the news I was convinced I would be back on my feet in not time but almost 3 years later I am still not in remission and I am gravely effected by the side effects of my treatments.  This site is meant to help me cope with the disease that has drastically altered my life forever while letting my friends and family know how I am laughing my way through leukemia
