As many of you know my Dad was admitted to the hospital January 16,2017 with extremely high blood sugar. After a week at Evergreen Hospital it was decided he would be transferred to a rehab facility to try and get his diabetes under control. Unfortunately on February 17th he was readmited to Evergreen with Jaundice. Through a series of tests and imaging both at Evergreen and Virginia Mason in Seattle he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on February 22, 2017. Currently, CT tests have come back clear indicating the cancer has not spread, but we are currently waiting the results from a final test to determine the best treatment plan going forward.
