After being in remission for three years, the squamous cell cancer in Larry's right lung has returned. After an initially difficult diagnosis, we are proceeding to plan treatment while also becoming more educated on the recent advancements in cancer treatment. Our next step will be meeting with a Thoracic surgeon to determine the feasibility of removing both the tumor in the upper right lobe and the one sitting in the hilar region. As you can see, we now know far more than we ever wanted to know about the physiology of the respiratory system! Prayers of family, friends and our church pastors and elders have keep us in positive spirits. We are continually reminded that "God is in control".
