Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated on Larry's progress. This all began quite unexpectedly on April 1 2016. He had gone into the hospital for a simple outpatient procedure. After surgery his temperature went to 107.5 and he went into septic shock the next day, causing all organs to fail. He was put on life support and was given a 5% chance of survival. His story is a testimony to the power of prayer, and I mean POWER of prayer. His miraculous survival and continued healing despite all odds, gives God opportunity to show what He can do. To have witnessed this miracle firsthand has been powerful to friends, family, and medical personnel. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement as Larry fights each day to heal, to learn to eat, speak, and walk again. But we have no doubt he will. Because we know who is in control.
