Welcome to our CaringBridge website.  We are using this website to keep family and friends updated regarding Larry's recovery process. Larry suffered a right sided hemorrhagic stroke at approximately 9:00am on Thursday morning.  A CT scan showed a blood clot in close approximation to a ruptured aneurysm.  Larry was admitted into surgery early Thursday evening in order to remove the blood clot and alleviate the bleeding and swelling in his brain. The surgery was successful, with the neurosurgeon removing  80% of the blood clot and placing a titanium clip on the aneurysm.  Larry is currently in the Neuro ICU at Wake Med Raleigh, resting and recovering.  It will be a long recovery process; a marathon, not a sprint.   With Larry's strong spirit, positive attitude, and the loving support of friends and family,  we feel certain he will reach the finish line successfully!  We appreciate your kind and encouraging words throughout Larry's healing process.  Thank you for visiting.
