On October 13, Larry Dykstra was diagnosed with AML, an acute leukemia which attacks bone marrow. Larry's aggressive treatment started at St. Mary's in Madison with Induction Chemo (7 day 24 hour continuous IV chemo).  In December, Larry underwent a Consolidation Chemo (3 day chemo series) at Dean West Clinic.  In January, Larry underwent a 5-day chemo treatment and stem-cell transplant at UW Hospital.

Larry's family has set up this site to give Larry encouragement and provide updates for friends/family.
