This is about Larry Dean Anderson, my most awesome dad. Larry was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma approx 16 years ago and had a successful sugury to remove the affected kidney. Unfortunately about five years ago it showed up in his right arm. A year ago it showed back up on a lung and three ribs. He started sutent, a chemo pill, and was doing very well. Four weeks ago he began experiencing a lot of pain in his hips and lower back, causing a lot of trouble walking and basic moving.  My mom and I took him to Overland Park for a skeletal scan. The scan revealed that the cancer had spread. Another MRI revealed that the cancer had spread to him brain.
