Hi family and friends.  It seems this old man has created some discord in his old body, and after a week of hospital pokes and prods, it seems this discord is quite a bit of cancer.  I’m not sure what the future will bring – length or quality – but I’m sure of what my life so far has brought, and I have been blessed with family, faith, purpose and place.  With those blessings I hope to take the clutter of my remaining journey and find the harmony, peace and rest we all look forward to.  To quote an old Appalachian hymn, “I wouldn’t take nothin’ for my journey now!”  It’s mine, and I hope to fill it with more wonderful memories. Thank you for being a part of my journey.
