Hello family and friends. We decided to set up a caring bridge to update everyone at once with what happened to my dad. On Tuesday, October 22, 2019  my dad fell of a ladder while at work.  He sustained several injuries including a fractured skull, some cracked ribs and fractured vertabrae in his lower  back.  We have some immediate praise reports, first and foremost He is alive and will heal.  The doctors are happy that his brain bleed didn't get worse over night as the first 24 hours are so critical.  He doesn't need to have any surgical procedures.  He is currently sedated and the medical staff are keeping him comfortable as his brain heals. We learned that with brain injuries, as precaution they intubate patients today the goal is to take Dad off sedation and see how well he is breathing on his own so the tube can come out.  Mom is able to stay right in the ICU room with him. The medical staff is super knowledgeable and have been helping us to best understand what's going on. Thanks for praying and checking in.  We will update as we know more. We know God is healer and are proclaiming complete restoration over Him.
Praise reports: pupils respond to light
He can move his legs
He responds to commands (when not sedated)
