Thank you for visiting our CaringBridge site. Our "new normal"started on Thursday, December 13th, when a gut feeling turned out to be so much more. Langley's blood tests came back with a severely low hemoglobin count. Our wonderful pediatrician, Dr. Mike, sent us immediately to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital where Langley received needed blood transfusions. After multiple tests, we received our official diagnosis on Friday - Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). While we never saw this coming, we are amazed daily by Langley's attitude, strength and bravery - and equally encouraged by the love and support of our family and friends.
We have a long road ahead but Langley's taking that road by storm! We will use this site to keep family and friends updated in once place. Continue to pray for our little warrior, Langley Lou. Your prayers are so appreciated and very much felt. Go ahead and say her name out loud, too! We know that God and everyone around loves hearing about our UNBELIEVABLE DAUGHTER ❤️ . . . who is going to WIN this battle!!!
