LaNesha was diagnosed with uterine cancer in July 2016. She had surgery to remove the cancer in Jan 2017. Then went thru 'sandwich ' therapy.... meaning chemo then radiation then chemo. After radiation she began having several types of pain in different areas.( Thus, ER visits... testing... etc) Her cancer Dr. informed her on Aug 15 ( her birthday) that cancer was now in both her lungs. Nina continued to be extremely uncomfortable. The following week was her next Dr appt. The Dr said that she was too sick for chemo... her body was not strong enough to tolerate chemotherapy. The following day (8/31/17)Nina was admitted to the hospital. She was told that the cancer had spread to several other areas of her body. Nina has chosen to come home and live as comfortably as possible. She was discharged from the hospital on 9/03/17. Currently Nina is at home. She is very weak and sleeps alot.
