Lamar was admitted to Wake Med on July 5th. After receiving a CT Scan and chest X-ray, doctors found several lesions in his brain as well as spots on his lung and adrenal gland. A tissue biopsy was performed today and preliminary results lean towards spreading of a past melanoma he had 10 years ago. The family is working on putting a treatment plan in place. This site has been set up so that when there is new information, they can get it out quickly and efficiently to friends and family. Lamar, Mary Hannah, Hannah and Miles appreciate your prayers and have loved reading text messages and emails and are so touched by all of the support and love they have received. Although they may not respond to messages, please know how much these are sustaining them during this difficult time.
