LaDon was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in early August 2017. She had been getting progressively weaker through out the month of July. Then she started having abdominal pain and lack of appetite. A lot of general vague fatigue symptoms. A CT scan in early August showed a mass on her pancreas and her liver also interfering into the major blood vessels to her pancreas and liver. The next week the diagnosis of Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer was confirmed with a biopsy.
There is NO CURE for pancreatic cancer.
She will start Chemo in 2 weeks to stop the progression of the disease and or shrink the tumors.
For now she is resting comfortably at home. She has good days and bad days.
We welcome phone calls, cards, letters and visits. We appreciate all of the Love Prayers and Support that our family and friends have offered up on our behalf. We feel everyone of them and could not navigate this difficult time without you!
I will do my best to keep this site updated as often as I can but just know that my families peace of mind and health come first. So if we don't respond quickly just know we hear you and we feel you.
