Our story.... Kurt had been having headaches for several months but was also going through a med change. We could not seem to get a medicine to help him. He went through several medicine changes. It was at the same time he was having stomach issues. Kurt has never complained of headaches or stomach issues before.  We thought maybe the trouble Kurt was having was related to the stomach more than the med change. We focused on finding out why his stomach kept hurting and doctors did several test till we finally found out his gallbladder was only working at 23%. This explained the stomach issue and some of the other problems but still had the headache.  We felt like we would solve the gallbladder then the headache would improve. The headaches were becoming worse. My mom and brother said they felt doing an MRI would be a good idea.  They felt like we should not wait till after gallbladder surgery. We did the MRI a week before his scheduled gallbladder surgery.  I received a from the doctor's office and honestly I have no idea what was said after they said "we see a mass."  This was not what anyone wants to hear but at the same time knowing why he was having the headaches helped.  We went to Ft Wayne to a neurosurgeon and he referred Kurt to Cleveland Clinic.  The neurosurgeons tumor team reviewed Kurt's case and felt surgery was the best choice. The doctor feels certain it is benign and this brings great relief!! It is located on the left side very near the brain stem. We report in for surgery to remove the brain tumor on Monday, November 7 at 10:00 am.  It will be a 6 hour surgery with at team of doctors and nurses.  Kurt is ready to have the headaches go away! And Kurt says "God has this!"  We are trusting God and have surrendered this to Him.  God has gone before us in so many ways! Trusting God does not happen without surrendering and believing in Christ.  We trust God! Please pray and believe and be blessed.
