This summer, back in July, I felt something and thought I should do the right thing and get it checked out (at my mothers request) and thank God I did......
What I felt was nothing but they found something else. I was diagnosed with breast cancer, 9 months after my regular/normal mammogram and we caught it early. Two surgeries later and a set back with an infection, I am finally on a path to recovery.
Today, I started chemotherapy and it feels very surreal.
I am setting up this page to keep in contact with so many dear friends and my precious family because it is so hard to contact everyone. Frankly, I am not sure who I have told what, as it has been a real whirl wind.
I am certain that "I got this"..... but keep me in your prayers and get your mammograms.
