Kristina Ailara Love Is The Only Rule

My name is Krissy. I am married to a smart, funny, strong willed man called Ron. I am 37 years old. I have 2 four legged kids. Tiger and Lucy. I also have a super supportive, caring, large circle of family and friends.
I found a large mass in my right breast one evening. I had never done a self breast exam, why should I? My world changed right then. I went to the doctor the next morning. My radiologist & I decided that because of scheduling conflicts it would be OK to wait two weeks to do the biopsy. It didn't look like cancer and didn't hurt so no big deal, right?
I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 2/4/16. After my PET scan on 2/12/16 we realized it was actually stage 4 triple negative metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my lungs, liver, and bones. It is a super aggressive cancer. Our plan is to do chemo for 12 weeks starting 2/25/16. Then we will see how my body tolerates the taxol and evaluate at that time if I will continue this chemo forever or possibly qualify for a trial at the Mayo.
That is all I know about that for now.
