In October of 2016, I was diagnosed with Ideopathic Primary Pulmonary Hypertension. There is no known cause for my illness. I was placed on oxygen 24x7. November 2016 started the trips to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I was fortunate to receive a double lung transplant on April 27, 2019. However, I am now in rejection and am back on oxygen and praying for another transplant. Update: March 6, 2022, Kristi received another gift of life with her second double lung transplant.
