In December 2018, Kristen went to the ER with abdominal pain. In an unfortunate surprise, we discovered that the pain was caused by several large masses in her liver. We now know that she has intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, a type of cancer that originates in the bile ducts of the liver. It’s a rare and aggressive cancer that is typically treated with chemotherapy. You can follow along with updates posted in the Journal Entries section, or read more about bile duct cancer here:

We are so grateful for your support and love, your words of hope and encouragement mean the world to us. Please know that we are not looking for gifts and we are not accepting donations.
