On January 4th, 2018 I was officially diagnosed with malignant (cancerous) mesothelioma of the peritoneum (abdominal lining). (So many big words!) It started when I went to the Dr (about a month earlier) for some other health issues and they felt it necessary to do a CT scan which revealed growths on my ovaries. What followed was many tests to determine what the growths were. Even though it took a while to find the answer, God has been giving me peace and comfort through it all.
I am receiving care at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. We are very thankful for their expertise and the care they show.
