On May 2, 2017, a pair of seizures sent Krissy to St. Joseph's Hospital in Bellingham, WA. After a CT scan revealed a mass and potential bleeding in her brain, she was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She spent most of the first day resting peacefully and enjoying the company of her incredibly loving, supportive family. Through them and countless others, Krissy and Reece have experienced God's love, grace, and presence. Krissy underwent an MRI in the evening that showed a tumor and spread into the brain. The Lord willing, she will have surgery on Friday, May 5 to remove the tumor and to gather more information on the tumor and how to move forward with treating it. In the meantime, we patiently wait. We rest. We pray. "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you."
