Hi. I was diagnosed with stage 2 Ovaian Cancer in 2008 when I was performing a routine hysterectomy to prevent ovarian cancer because it runs in my family (my mother, aunt and grandmother). I was 41 and my children were 10 and 7. I did not think I would live long as it was pretty quick for my mother. But here I am now, 52, and a ten year survivor of ovarian and I feel blessed! I’ve battled hard with five surgeries so far and three previous rounds of IV chemotherapy. This week I will be starting my fourth round of chemotherapy treatment and it will last the next several months. I appreciate all the love and support I’ve received over the years and it is what has gotten me through the toughest times. Thanks for visiting my site, I will do my best to keep you updated.
