Welcome to Krissy’s CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. On Friday 3/29 Krissy went into the ER at Stormont Vail Hospital with complaints of severe abdominal pain, nausea, fatigue and a general feeling of being unwell for the previous few days. A visit to her doctor earlier in the week resulted in a diagnosis of “heartburn and possible stomach virus”—no other symptoms and complaints prior to this were experienced or reported by Krissy. A CT scan in the ER showed a large mass in both her intestinal tract and liver. She was admitted at that time for additional testing and treatment. She has since received a diagnosis of Aggressive Stage 4 Colon Cancer Metastisized to the Liver. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
