Krissi Spohn

On Tuesday 11/2/21 Krissi was taken by ambulance to Sky Ridge Medical center. She couldn't catch her breath after being sick at home for 10 days.  Her pulse ox was hovering around 50% so she was intubated and put on the ventilator. She was sedated and given medicine to paralyze her body so that it didn't work against the ventilator. She also tested positive for Covid-19 along with a double pneumonia.  That night she was transferred to The Medical Center of Aurora, south campus, and moved into ICU room 7. She is still there, intubated, sedated and paralyzed. She has a central line and arterial line and is being fed through a tube.
