Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Our battle with cancer has been and will be a long and stressful process. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting and feel free to share this info with others.
My besties suggested and were able to talk me into letting them create a GoFundMe. We want to express our deep gratitude in advance, as the stress and financial burden of this journey will be substantial. Thank you so very much for your support in whatever fashion you choose to provide it.
NOTE: On the CaringBridge platform, there are many places where you will see a request to donate financially; please be aware that (except for our GoFundMe) those requests are for the benefit of CaringBridge's financial support, not for our family’s expenses.

https://gofund.me/eaa48991This story has two main chapters (round-1 and round-2). Some of you who met me in the past 10-15 years don’t even know there was a round-1. So I added historical journal entries to get everyone up to speed. Sequel and prequel - depending on your starting point. If you're not sure you want to read through all of the details from the entire timeline, here's a Cliff's Notes Version:
- Had Synovial Cell (soft tissue) sarcoma. Used surgery and radiation to cure it.
- 15 years later diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (hip bones) almost certainly caused by the prior radiation. Used chemo and amputation surgery (hemipelvectomy, loss of left pelvis and leg) to cure it.
- Kicking cancer's butt, twice!
Love!
