Kathy thought it was just a garden variety Urinary Tract Infection and she tried to power through it at home. Well it got worse and she ended up in the ER on September 18th and was admitted to the ICU.

It turns out that there was a kidney stone in there and that simple UTI had actually become septic and was causing all sorts of other problems like extremely low blood pressure.

The doctors believe that the infection had spread and caused the blood pressure drop and in turn she suffered cardiac arrest.

As I write this, our dear friend, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, wife, cousin is recovering slowly but surely at Jersey City Medical Center and appreciates all of the well-wishes, thoughts and prayers.

I will continue to update this site throughout her recovery period. I welcome you to add your own contributions to this site.
