On Friday August 24, Kody was having horrible stomach pain. I took him to the ER thinking maybe it was his appendix. He had a CT scan which showed he had a mass in his colon that had perforated the intestine wall. They transferred him to Mayo in Rochester where he had surgery to remove about a foot of his intestines. The good news was they were able to reconnect the colon and he did not need to have a stoma bag. The bad news was the tumor was cancerous. He will need to have chemo to get rid of any random cancer cells lurking around. They are going to give him about a month to recover from surgery before starting chemo.  


 Please keep Kody in your prayers. I know and believe that God has a plan... we just have to trust Him!
